As a Commerce Operations Strategist, you will develop and execute strategies to grow our clients' marketplace businesses, leveraging your expertise in commerce operations. You will collaborate with internal teams to drive success through best-in-class brand presence, operational excellence, and retail relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Client-Centric:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow clients' marketplace businesses, measured by client growth metrics and marketplace performance.

  • Own and support relationships with key clients and decision-makers, including C-Level teams, striving for a Client Satisfaction score of 9 or above and Client Retention of 95% or above.

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketplace strategies, including demand forecasting, catalog management, content optimization, operational efficiency, advertising, channel management, and business reporting, measured by performance improvements and strategic alignment.

  • Drive success through the three functional pillars of Commerce Operations: Best-in-class brand presence, Operational excellence, and Retail relationship management, ensuring sustainable achievement of growth and profitability targets.

Product-Led:

  • Integrate Tinuiti’s product and technology suite into commerce operations, focusing on scalability, growth, and efficiency, and measuring success through achievement of key client metrics and operational excellence.

  • Demonstrate fluency in Tinuiti's product app suite through utilizing the tool suite in day-to-day work, answering questions using the app, providing feedback and improvement recommendations, and leveraging the app as a primary method of client communications.

Data & Measurement Data-Driven:

  • Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights and drive marketing decisions, using analytics tools to track performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Effectively report on and communicate insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and the broader commerce landscape.

Channel Specific Expertise & The Tinuiti Way:

  • Collaborate with other Tinuiti teams to develop comprehensive commerce strategies for Marketplaces clients, sharing learnings and best practices to enhance team and agency performance.

  • Maintain expertise in the commerce industry, contributing to client success and shaping Tinuiti’s POV on Commerce Operations.

  • Regularly communicate updates relevant to the Commerce Operations line of business, ensuring their impact on client and agency strategy is understood and addressed.

  • Demonstrate and maintain fluency in relevant commerce platforms and processes such as Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Brand Registry, ensuring effective management and optimization of client accounts.

  • Delegate effectively to more junior commerce team members to execute strategies.

  • Effectively prioritize and manage time across clients, partner relationships, and internal initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of strategic objectives.

Professional & Technical Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in commerce account management roles with a proven track record of executing successful growth strategies.

  • Familiarity with Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Brand Registry preferred,

  • Experienced in client-facing roles. Amazon or agency experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated fluent in retail math calculations.

The hiring base salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000. We also offer an incentive pay program (RevShare) comprising a monthly variable revenue payment opportunity and a discretionary annual performance bonus. 

Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with
market data. We will provide more information on our benefits, incentive pay, and equity upon requests. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
