Role Summary

HPE is seeking a Cloud Developer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions that support mission-critical applications. This role supports HPE's Cloud Services portfolio and works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate has experience with cloud technologies, software development, and containerized environments, along with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. This position provides opportunities to learn new technologies, contribute to innovative projects, and grow technical expertise in cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based applications and services under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and design discussions to ensure quality and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system integration challenges.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement cloud-native solutions and improve system reliability and scalability.
  • Contribute to the adoption of development best practices, automation, and modern engineering tools.
  • Analyze application and system data to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Work with project teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and support the delivery of business objectives.
  • Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Typically 2+ years of experience in software development, cloud development, or related disciplines.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native application development concepts.
  • Familiarity with microservices, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, testing methodologies, and debugging techniques.
  • Knowledge of source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn from experienced engineers.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software development practices and agile methodologies.
