Purpose of Role

Responsible for closing FHA Reverse Mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with established policies, regulatory requirements, and loan terms. This includes reviewing data for compliance fees and documents.

Expectations

  • Prepares loan for Closing, including ensuring that all items on Closing checklist have been met.
  • Ensures all fields in ReverseVision are complete and accurate prior to closing.
  • Re-discloses loans in compliance with all RESPA/TILA requirements.
  • Understands and evaluates the closing packages for accuracy.
  • Has the ability to close a minimum number of 120 loans per month.
  • Meets productivity standards as set by the company.
  • Follow up and ensure that all trailing documents have been obtained prior to shipping.
  • Attends and participates in regular and ad hoc departmental meetings.
  • Follows the Company standards for delivery of integrity, client focus, teamwork and respect for each individual in every interaction.
  • Exhibits observable sense of urgency in the execution of all job functions and duties.
  • Meets or exceeds levels of Customer Service delivery established by the Company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION - REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma

EDUCATION - PREFERRED

  • BA - Bachelor of Arts

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • At least 3 years of experience mortgage banking, loan processing, or closing.
  • Familiarity with various loan programs, as well as compliance regulations
  • Prior experience working with Loan Origination Systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Current knowledge of industry guidelines and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations
  • Knowledge of mortgage banking
  • Analytical skills

  • Highly organized
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints
  • Ability to organize and coordinate projects

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($50,000 - $63,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time-off benefits, flexible spending account, 401(k) with employer match, and ESPP.
