Clinician Support Specialist

We are looking for a Clinician Support Specialist to be the frontline advocate for clinicians using Ambience’s AI-powered tools. This role is responsible for providing world-class support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring clinicians have the knowledge and resources they need to succeed. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and are passionate about improving clinician experiences, this is the role for you.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Be the Frontline Expert: Deliver fast, high-quality support that keeps clinicians confident and focused on patient care. You’ll be the go-to resource, ensuring users get the help they need—when they need it.

  • Solve Problems, Fast: Tackle challenges head-on, resolving most issues on the first contact and proactively reducing future roadblocks.

  • Create Resources That Matter: Build and refine internal and external facing tools that make it easier for clinicians to find answers independently, reducing ticket volume and increasing efficiency, as well as easier support to provide the highest quality service at all times.

  • Spot & Escalate Trends: Identify patterns in clinician challenges and provide actionable insights to internal teams, influencing product improvements.

  • Continuously Raise the Bar: Optimize support workflows, refine best practices, and drive innovations that improve the clinician experience.

What we look for:

  • You’re passionate about helping clinicians succeed. You have 2-5 years of experience in customer or technical support and thrive in roles where you can make a direct impact on user experience, ideally within healthcare or SaaS.

  • You solve problems with speed and precision. You know how to troubleshoot multiple and complex issues efficiently, minimize downtime, and keep users confident in the technology they rely on.

  • You communicate with clarity and empathy. Whether explaining technical concepts or de-escalating a concern, you ensure every interaction is professional, approachable, and solution-focused.

  • You build smarter support systems. You don’t just solve problems—you prevent them. You create knowledge resources, streamline workflows, and continuously improve how support is delivered.

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment. You work seamlessly with internal teams, escalate trends that need broader solutions, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Pay Transparency

The base compensation for this role is approximately $75,000-$105,000 per year, excluding equity or bonus targets. We’ve intentionally allocated a wider range so that candidates have more flexibility to choose the desired cash/equity split that works for them. Philosophically, we lean towards generous equity grants so that our team truly gets to share in the impact they create.

Are you outside of the range? We encourage you to still apply: we take an individualized approach to ensure that compensation accounts for all of the life factors that matter for each candidate.

Being at Ambience:

  • An opportunity to work with cutting edge AI technology, on a product that dramatically improves the quality of life for healthcare providers and the quality of care they can provide to their patients

  • Dedicated budget for personal development, including access to world class mentors, advisors, and an in-house executive coach

  • Work alongside a world-class, diverse team that is deeply mission aligned

  • Ownership over your success and the ability to significantly impact the growth of our company

  • Competitive salary and equity compensation with benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, quarterly retreats, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k) plan

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
