USC's Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accepting applications for a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to work at the USC Pharmacy located on the University Park Campus.  The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will provide pharmacy based clinical patient care services to include, but not limited to, immunizations, travel medicine, smoking cessation and latent TB treatment.   The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will be required to verify prescription orders in compliance with Federal and State laws, provide accurate and safe drug therapy, medication consultations and quality assurance for medication errors on a continual basis.  The Clinical Staff Pharmacist must have an interest in precepting pharmacy students and residents.  The applicant will also participate in regular pharmacy preceptor meetings and clinical pharmacy meetings.   The applicant must be available to work weekdays and some weekends where applicable.  The applicant must have a degree from an accredited (ACPE) school of pharmacy and be a registered pharmacist in the state of CA. Pharm.D., residency or equivalent experience is preferred.

Applicant may rotate to other USC Community Pharmacy locations when needed.

M-F, Occasional Saturday.  Shift based on pharmacy needs:  8:30am – 5:00pm; 10:00am – 6:30pm; 11:00am – 7:30pm.

The hourly rate range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00.  When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

This is a 6-month Fixed-Term Position

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Minimum Field of Expertise: Degree from accredited (ACPE) school of pharmacy. Registered pharmacist in state of California.
