About IP House

At IP House, we empower brands, legal professionals, and rights holders to manage and protect intellectual property—both online and offline—on a truly global scale. Through cutting-edge technology and deep cross-border expertise, we deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions for IP portfolio management, enforcement, and content and brand protection.

With over 700 experts operating across five continents, we are trusted by some of the world’s most recognized brands to combat counterfeiting, piracy, and IP infringement at scale. From digital platforms to physical marketplaces, we help clients safeguard what matters most—everywhere it matters.

Overview of the Role:

We’re looking for a Client Success Lead to own a portfolio of US and global accounts across entertainment, retail, and other sectors, and to grow it.

This is a commercial, quota-carrying role. You’ll carry an annual target built from three things: net-new business you win in your territory, expansion revenue you generate inside the accounts you hold, and the retention of that book. If you want a defined book of accounts, a market to go after, and the autonomy to build both, read on.

What makes it different is what you’re selling. IP House protects some of the world’s most recognizable brands from counterfeiting, piracy, and IP infringement. The work is technical, the buying cycle is consultative, and the clients stay for years when the delivery is good. You’ll be close enough to that delivery to sell it credibly and to grow it once it’s live.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow the accounts you hold. Identify expansion paths, lead the commercial conversations, and negotiate scope changes, uplifts, and renewals directly.
  • Win new business. Own the net-new logo target for your territory. Build and work your own pipeline through outbound, referrals, and industry networking, supported by marketing-generated demand. Run opportunities end to end, from first conversation through solution design, pricing, and close.
  • Keep clients. Serve as the senior relationship owner across your portfolio, run MBRs and QBRs that evidence real value, and spot retention risk long before it reaches a renewal date.
  • Work close to delivery. Partner with Operations to hold the line on timelines, quality, and compliance, and feed what you hear from clients back into Product and Client Solutions.
  • Represent IP House. Attend and speak at sector conferences and industry events as a business development presence.

What You’ll Bring:

  •  4–6 years in a quota-carrying role: sales, business development, or commercially accountable client success or account management.
  • A track record of hitting an individual revenue target
  • Experience originating and closing net-new business, not only growing accounts you inherited.
  • Comfort owning pricing conversations, negotiating terms, and closing contracts.
  • Strong retention performance across a managed portfolio.
  • Disciplined pipeline and forecasting habits, and fluency with CRM.
  • Credibility with both commercial and operational audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Sector background in IP enforcement, brand protection, legal services, SaaS, or professional services is an advantage, but we’re more interested in commercial track record and the ability to learn a complex domain quickly.

Why IP House:

IP House helps brands, legal professionals, and rights holders manage and protect intellectual property online and offline, worldwide. We combine technology with deep domain expertise to deliver IP portfolio management, enforcement, and brand protection at scale.

With over 800 experts across five continents, we’re trusted by some of the world’s most recognized brands to combat counterfeiting, piracy, and IP infringement.

Why Join:

You’ll have a defined market and the autonomy to build it, in a company that is scaling and where commercial performance is visible. We offer a flexible, remote-first working environment and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, well-being, and financial security for employees and their families.

IP House is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
