Position Overview

PHIL is seeking a talented and driven Client Strategy Associate to support the success of pharmaceutical manufacturer programs on our platform. This role will focus on managing day-to-day client engagement, leveraging data and strategic analysis to drive program performance and value, supporting new program launches, and developing recommendations that help clients optimize their programs over time. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to help clients get the most out of their programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagement & program success – Help develop and execute plans to ensure successful program launches while supporting ongoing program optimization and long-term client success. Track key milestones, proactively identify risks, and help drive successful client outcomes.

  • Program coordination & client support – Work closely with clients to support day-to-day needs, helping translate client goals into actionable next steps for PHIL.

  • Performance analysis & reporting – Analyze program performance against key success metrics, build reporting and dashboards, identify trends and opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations that help clients and internal teams optimize program performance.

  • Strategic insight generation – Identify opportunities to optimize program rules, prescriber engagement, and patient experiences through rigorous analysis and a strong understanding of client objectives, program performance, and therapeutic area dynamics.

  • Client relationship management – Serve as a trusted day-to-day point of contact for clients, supporting discussions on program performance, goal alignment, and areas for improvement.

  • Stakeholder collaboration & problem-solving – Partner with internal teams (client success, product, operations) and external client contacts to resolve issues, escalating and diplomatically navigating pushback as needed.

  • Data quality & process improvement – Help ensure the quality, integrity, and accessibility of program data while identifying opportunities to improve reporting, tooling, operational processes, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3–7 years of experience in a client-facing, consulting, analytics, business strategy, or startup operations role; ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical environments.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) preferred.

  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable turning data into clear, actionable insights for both clients and internal teams.

  • A scrappy, resourceful problem solver who's comfortable with ambiguity and can find a path forward without a well-worn playbook.

  • Proven ability to drive results, both through direct execution and by influencing cross-functional partners.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and align internal and external stakeholders around shared goals.

Benefits

  • Ground-floor opportunity with one of the fastest-growing startups in health-tech.

  • Fully remote working environment available in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MA, MI, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV

  • Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience).

  • Full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision.

  • 401(k) contribution opportunity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
