The Client Services Regional Coordinator position is a hands-on leadership role supporting three Community Center Coordinators and the programs they provide throughout the San Gabriel Valley. This position travels between satellite community centers and plays an important role in ensuring that clients receive compassionate, consistent, and effective services. This role will be responsible for building community partnerships, supporting a team and connecting clients to resources to make a meaningful difference. 

The role will be coordinating services and programs providing emergency food, rental and utility assistance, case management, referrals, advocacy, and other emergency services to individuals and families in need.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both leading people and serving people, who can coach a team, solve problems, manage resources, build community partnerships, and step in directly with clients when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises, directs, trains, assigns, and evaluates work of assigned personnel and volunteers.
  • Decides how to allocate funds used to provide financial assistance to clients in need of emergency food, shelter, clothing, rental assistance, transportation, medical and special needs.
  • Assists regional Director plan and implement new methods of service delivery consistent with the Agency’s mission statement.
  • Provides direct case management services to clients.
  • Provides information, referrals and advocacy for clients whose needs are not met here.
  • Administers and organizes various programs. Coordinates services and functions between satellite offices.
  • Monitors daily expenditures for financial assistance. Reviews and approves department’s financial transactions.
  • Provides consultation to staff and other Agency or community representatives.
  • Helps plan and implement staff development programs to improve the quality and effectiveness of services.
  • Maintains, promotes, and develops office procedures.
  • Displays sensitivity to the client population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Three to five years of supervisor experience.
  • State, County, City program contract administration.
  • Assistance with policies and procedures.
  • Basic accounting and budget preparation.
