We combine creative thinking, deep technical expertise, and battle-tested experience to strengthen cyber resilience and guide organizations through high-pressure situations. Our specialists come from elite military technology units and leading roles across the cybersecurity industry. We support clients at every stage of their security journey and bring the mindset, tools, and experience needed to help them stay ahead of evolving threats.

The Role

Sygnia is looking for a Client Partner, Manager in the United States to win new enterprise clients across North America as part of our Sales team. This is a sales-focused, client-facing individual contributor role responsible for converting qualified opportunities into signed business, building new client relationships, and generating revenue.

You will receive qualified opportunities generated primarily through Sygnia's business development, marketing, and partner channels, and lead them from qualification through close. You will own a defined revenue target and be accountable for converting qualified opportunities into signed business and consistently delivering against your target.

This role is focused primarily on acquiring new clients, with selective responsibility for expansion after the initial sale. During the first six months of each new client relationship, you will lead commercial expansion, identify follow-on opportunities, and support an orderly transition to the long-term account owner.

What You’ll Do

  • Convert qualified opportunities into signed new-logo business, with responsibility for achieving a defined revenue target.
  • Own the sales process from qualification through discovery, scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Manage a portfolio of qualified opportunities with the discipline needed to improve win rate and increase the number of closed-won opportunities.
  • Build relationships with technical, security, business, and executive stakeholders, establishing credibility and creating a strong foundation for a long-term client relationship.
  • Work closely with Sygnia's technical and engagement teams to understand client challenges, shape relevant solutions, and bring the right expertise into each opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain clear opportunity plans, including stakeholder maps, decision criteria, competitive considerations, next steps, and realistic forecasts.
  • Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations that advance opportunities and demonstrate the relevance of Sygnia's cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Coordinate the commercial transition from sales into delivery, ensuring that client expectations, commitments, and relationship context are communicated clearly to the engagement team.
  • Own commercial expansion during the first six months of each new client relationship, identifying follow-on needs and developing additional opportunities before transitioning the account.
  • Collaborate across Sygnia's matrix organization and with business development, marketing, and partner teams to maintain momentum and progress opportunities toward close.
  • Contribute market, buyer, and competitive insights that strengthen Sygnia's sales approach, messaging, and go-to-market priorities.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of converting qualified opportunities into new-logo revenue, ideally within cybersecurity consulting, professional services, or a related technology environment.
  • Seven to ten years of professional experience, including significant experience in client-facing sales, business development, consulting, or cybersecurity services.
  • Strong sales mindset with a demonstrated ability to advance qualified opportunities, navigate complex buying environments, negotiate effectively, and close business.
  • Strong client service orientation, with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand complex cybersecurity challenges and translate them into relevant business outcomes and service opportunities.
  • Disciplined opportunity management skills, including the ability to manage multiple pursuits, maintain momentum, and provide realistic forecasts.
  • Proactive, independent, and hands-on working style with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Positive, adaptable mindset with the ability to learn quickly and navigate changing client and market needs.
  • Ability to travel within the United States approximately 20 percent of the time, primarily for client meetings, relationship development, and industry events.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience selling cybersecurity consulting, incident response, managed security, or other complex cybersecurity services.
  • Experience winning large enterprise clients and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes.
  • Existing relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior security and technology leaders.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 1000 or other large enterprise organizations.
  • Familiarity with incident response, cyber resilience, security assessments, or other professional cybersecurity services.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, C-CISO, or GSTRT.

Why Sygnia

Sygnia offers the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced cybersecurity professionals in the industry and engage directly with organizations facing complex security challenges. In this role, you will have a direct impact on Sygnia's growth in North America by winning new clients and building the foundation for trusted, long-term relationships with senior security leaders.

You will work across a highly experienced team of cybersecurity consultants, incident responders, business development professionals, and security specialists, giving you the opportunity to deepen your cybersecurity expertise while building a strong network of senior client relationships.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
