We are hiring a Chief of Staff for the CEO. This is a unique opportunity to partner with the CEO and the executive team and gain an inside perspective into how a high-growth software business operates, while contributing directly to the company's strategy and execution. 

This person will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO – helping drive MongoDB’s most important operating rhythms and initiatives including Board meetings, earnings, executive offsites, strategic planning & KPI tracking. You will program and lead the weekly executive meeting and ensure the CEO is prepped day-to-day for meetings and engagements. You’ll act as a connector between the CEO and MongoDB’s executive team and senior leaders, helping to proactively surface and propose solutions to issues, track takeaways and action items, and ensure accountability to commitments. While the focus is on running the business day-to-day, there’s also the opportunity to work on special initiatives ranging from M&A, to emerging product areas, and projects focused on driving operational efficiency internally. This is a unique role that offers an insider's view on how a fast-growing business is run, the opportunity to contribute its strategy, and direct exposure to the executive team, functional leaders across the company, and the company’s board.

Who You Are:
  • 6 - 8 years of experience in the tech industry (ideally software/SaaS) with a mix of strategic and analytical roles.: 
  • You’ve worked in high growth environments with C-Suite leaders and operate with a high degree of ownership
  • You have a blend of strategic thinking and operating acumen that allows you to look at programs and initiatives with a commercial lens
  • You are able to break down complex problems and communicate them clearly and succinctly that allow others to easily understand what is needed
  • You thrive in dynamic environments, can adapt quickly and are comfortable with ambiguity
  • You are able to influence senior stakeholders cross functionally to operationalize and deliver against key priorities, sometimes with limited direction and support 
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment with limited data
  • Strong in analytics, critical thinking and judgment
  • Incredibly well organized, intellectually curious, low ego and willing to roll up your sleeves and contribute where needed

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$129,000$253,000 USD
