Job Responsibilities :

Summary 

The Category Manager for the Lifestyle Furniture Division (LFD) is the regional marketing expert for assigned products. This role is responsible for ensuring that Razer is successful in driving market share through product marketing and management as well as brand and demand generation activities of product in this division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute the go-to-market strategy across the Americas region by creating comprehensive marketing plans and engagements to achieve sales and profit growth objectives of assigned products.

  • Work with regional and global marketing teams, sales, and global business unit teams to define regional marketing and merchandising plans and requirements from supporting teams to achieve objectives.

  • Evangelize the LFD product categories that include Lifestyle (Co-Branded Gaming Peripherals and Soft Goods), Furniture (Gaming Chairs) and Content Creation (Webcams and Microphones) – Train, Educate, and Inform the PR/Sales/Marketing Team.

  • Coordinate, collaborate, and drive execution of LFD product marketing initiatives and business requirements within the regional marketing team through engagement with different functional teams including digital marketing, online merchandising, PR, event planning, partnerships, and retail marketing.

  • Manage and meticulously maintain regional product launch schedule ensuring key dates are met by supporting teams to ensure products are launched on time.

  • Drive quarterly regional brief back process with supporting marketing teams ensuring the plans and strategies are correctly communicated back to the Global Business Unit.

  • Prepare and present key account sales presentations to retail accounts and end-user customers.
    Plan, coordinate, and attend industry and regional sales events representing LFD product portfolio.

  • Collaborate on game-changing marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for products through our partner's online sites and physical stores.

  • Execute impactful product launch plans that will grow Razer’s share of the TAM.

  • Implement promotion plans and strategies based on sales, partner capabilities, and market data analysis.

  • In conjunction with supporting teams, develop and present quarterly LFD regional execution plan.

  • Work with the sales team to define and develop account-specific marketing plans and support across various channels including retail (Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc.), and e-commerce (Amazon US, CA, and Mexico).

  • Provide regular competitive product and market analysis with US market share tracking, reporting & analysis.

  • Review monthly sales forecasts of assigned product category to identify opportunities for improvement as well as ensure forecasts for new SKUs are aligned with regional product strategy.

  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 3-5 years of category management experience or a combination of sales and marketing. experience in LFD product segments (preferable) or gaming furniture and consumer computer electronic hardware and accessories.  Working with co-branded licensed products is a plus.

  • PC Gamer and/or experience with Esports.

  • Must have experience pitching/launching/selling through products in retail and e-commerce and an established record of meeting or exceeding goals.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, identify problems, and come up with constructive solutions.

  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.

  • Outstanding teamwork, organizational interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Passionate, ambitious, self-starter.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Travel Requirements

Travel required up to 15%.

Pre-Requisites :

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$80,038.00 - $134,713.00
