Develop and maintain data models that accurately represent business processes and requirements. • Perform data mapping to ensure consistency and integrity across various data sources and systems. • Conduct data quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable insights. • Utilize basic SQL and Python skills to query, manipulate data, and automate routine tasks. • Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. • Conduct data analysis (by monitoring & reporting on data pipeline performance) to improve data pipeline efficiency/effectiveness. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data quality management. • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data manipulation tasks. • Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation purposes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. • Experience in financial domain of hedge funds , fund admins , banking is a plus • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) is a plus • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities"
