Your New Role
This internship will be located in the LA area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule.
As an Intern for Brand & Operations Marketing at Max, you will assist the Creative Asset Specialists and Managers in the sourcing, Quality Control (QC), and final delivery of all digital marketing assets to all internal and external partners. This is a great opportunity to learn the full life cycle of creative assets, specifications and regulations of different ad platforms, and the QC and final delivery of all assets to ensure they meet the high standards and creativity of Max and WBD.
The ideal candidate is highly organized with a passion for marketing, digital art/photography, and cinematic content working closely in a pod structure which includes the Strategists, Project Managers (PMs), Creative Directors, and Media Ops. Join our Max team and help us bring in, retain, and winback high quality customers and show us your best while doing so!
Your Role Accountabilities
• Assist in the management of creative assets, taxonomy (file naming convention), metadata, and delivery, acting as the gatekeeper of high quality creative.
• Work closely with campaign strategists, PMs, and media ops to help ensure asset specifications, messaging, Intellectual Property (IP) details and other creative/legal requirements are met.
• Support the sourcing of key art, trailers, social videos, and other assets available from the internal cross-functional teams based on our media strategy plan.
• Assist with QC and delivery of final assets; ensuring each asset is built to specifications, correct branding/messaging, proper taxonomy and other metadata have been distributed.
• Communicate and assist when updates or pivots happen to our creatives, strategy, metadata, and other realignments.
• Collaborate and manage creative decks and other presentations as well as updating our internal team's central website full of resources for assets, specifications, and collaboration.
• Assist the final delivery process into the Creative Trafficking Program for the media teams to push live.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience managing different digital assets, file types, and specifications.
  • Understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
  • Any Digital Asset Management (DAM), metadata input, or file naming conventions
  • A creative problem solver that is highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized and a team player.
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate, with experience of any of the following software: Sharepoint MONDAY.com, Box, Airtable, Claravine/taxonomy creation, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Any creative services or project management experience.
  • Strong time-management multi-tasker with an attention to detail.
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)

What to know before applying:
The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.
Program date options:
Option 1: June 3rd - August 16th
Option 2: June 10th - August 23rd

  • Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
  • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
  • Interviewing will take place from March through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.
