This role transcends standard reporting; you will provide the strategic vision necessary to optimize our programmatic ecosystem, acting as a high-level consultant to both external vendors (SSPs, RTB Exchanges, Ad Servers) and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a programmatic veteran who pairs deep technical expertise with sophisticated business acumen and leadership potential. You will be responsible for protecting Nexxen’s margins, anticipating market shifts, and ensuring our supply landscape remains a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance Analytics: Own internal reporting, performing deep-dive revenue, cost, and margin analysis based on historical data and market intelligence to guide supply decisions.

• Inventory Curation: Identify new supply opportunities and gather demand-specific insights to guide inventory procurement.

• Product Testing: Drive the full-cycle testing, analysis, and implementation strategy of new inventory products.

• Campaign Support: Manage Deal ID generation and provide ongoing delivery monitoring and optimization for multiple simultaneous campaigns.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery and Sales Engineering to troubleshoot campaign performance and ensure the supply landscape meets demand requirements.

• Documentation: Create and maintain internal tools and reference pages regarding platform capabilities, operational processes, and best practices.

• Nexxen Expert: Become an expert in Nexxen SSP capabilities, utilizing internal tools to set campaigns up for success.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated experience in creative problem-solving and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and client-ready documentation.

• Adaptability: Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Technical Familiarity: Understanding of Tableau, SQL, R, or Python is a significant plus.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Physics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field of study.

• Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience with programmatic campaigns in a DSP or SSP environment (pulling reports, monitoring performance, and executing optimizations).

• Programmatic Knowledge: Strong understanding of bidding structures, VAST/VPAID, RTB Specs, and brand safety guidelines.

• Software: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and PowerPoint.

• Soft Skills: Strict attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative "team player" mentality.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, unlimited vacation, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available will vary depending on the state, start date, and employment type. Our Talent Acquisition team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
