JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in securing goods, services, and supplies essential to both customer-facing and internal operations. Leveraging Oracle Fusion ERP, you will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders with accuracy, manage purchase order timelines to ensure uninterrupted supply, and support organizational objectives through robust reporting and procurement forecasting. Demonstrating a strong understanding of the procure to pay process, this role requires effective communication with both internal stakeholders and suppliers while consistently applying sound judgment to purchasing challenges and decisions. Proactivity, initiative, and commitment to process excellence are critical to success in this position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders utilizing Oracle Fusion ERP, ensuring accuracy across the Procure to Pay process.
  • Monitor purchase order life cycles, ensuring timely closure of fulfilled orders and resolution of outstanding issues to maintain accurate records and streamline future procurement activities.
  • Generate and analyze reports on category purchases to inform decision-making and ensure alignment with budgetary and organizational goals.
  • Support procurement forecasting efforts by evaluating historical purchasing trends and anticipating future needs.
  • Builds productive internal and/or external working relationships.
  • Manage supplier relationships for portal onboarding and address purchase order discrepancies, as well as service changes and cancellations.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, secure volume discounts, and establish long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies supporting both customer-facing and internal business processes.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and standard purchasing practices to address a variety of moderately complex issues, exercising sound judgment within established guidelines.
  • Demonstrate initiative in navigating defined processes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and effectively.
  • Identify solutions to challenges encountered, utilizing sound judgment within established guidelines to meet project and organizational objectives.
  • Actively seek out opportunities to enhance work quality, with performance reviewed for alignment with expectations and adequacy.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain with 1-3 yrs of work experience in supply chain, procurement and procurement operations. In lieu of degree 5-7 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience generating and analyzing data for business insights.
  • Ability to work with team and cross-functionally
  • Oracle Fusion ERP experience preferred

Compensation Range:

$54,800.00 - $97,900.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
