Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to support procurement operations for PV and BESS power system construction projects. The Buyer will manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders (POs), ensuring seamless transactions and timely delivery of goods and services. This role demands strong expertise in ERP systems, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to achieving Perfect Orders.
The Buyer will collaborate with suppliers, track open orders, address any discrepancies between supplier performance and PO terms, and use ERP-generated reports to drive efficiency and accuracy. This role is pivotal to maintaining high standards of transactional excellence in procurement activities.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for goods and services, meeting project demands and timelines.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to confirm PO details and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and track open orders, resolving delays or discrepancies as needed.
  • Identify and address invoice mismatches with supplier performance to ensure accurate billing and payments.
  • Drive transactional excellence by adhering to procurement processes and achieving Perfect Orders standards.
  • Utilize ERP system capabilities to develop reports and analyze procurement data for process improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement operations.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in procurement, buying, or related roles within the construction, PV, or energy storage sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, including creating and analyzing reports.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards in purchasing and procurement.

Compensation Range:

$71,360.00 - $89,200.00
