The Business Systems Manager oversees AMIRI's enterprise applications such as ERP and PLM. Responsibilities include enhancing system operations, managing integrations, leading incident resolution, and improving service quality standards.
Purpose and Objective
The Business Systems Manager owns the stability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of AMIRI’s core enterprise applications, with a primary focus on ERP (NetSuite), PLM, POS, wholesale, and e-commerce adjacent platforms. The role exists to ensure these systems reliably support global retail, wholesale, and corporate operations as the brand scales.
This role leads a small, hands-on team responsible for day-to-day operations, incident management, enhancements, and release cycles across live platforms. Digital Delivery owns large, CAPEX-funded programs, while Business Systems owns OPEX-funded Run & Enhance delivery and serves as application and integration design authority into those initiatives.
Leadership & Operating Model
- Own Run & Enhance delivery for in-scope business systems.
- Define and enforce application, configuration, and integration standards.
- Maintain structured intake, prioritization, and capacity management.
- Lead internal team members and external partners with clear accountability.
- Personally contribute to complex analysis, configuration reviews, and solution design.
- Set the quality bar through direct involvement in critical issues and releases.
Platform, Data, and Integration Ownership
- Serve as definitive owner of how ERP, PLM, POS, and related platforms are configured and operated.
- Own platform integrations layer (Celigo -iPaaS).
- Own operational integrity of integrations, including monitoring and exception handling.
- Partner with Data teams to ensure analytics-ready systems.
Service Quality, SLAs, and Releases
- Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs for incidents, integrations, and releases.
- Own incident and problem management, including root-cause analysis.
- Plan and execute regular release cycles for small and medium enhancements.
Decision Rights & Boundaries
- Owns and decides application standards, configuration patterns, integration design, and Run & Enhance priorities. Influences solution design within Digital Delivery programs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
- 8–10 years owning production business systems in multi-entity retail or consumer environments
- Hands-on ERP experience, NetSuite
- Hands-on ERP experience, Celigo
- Proven ownership of incidents, enhancements, and release cycles across integrated platforms
- Strong understanding of integrations and enterprise data structures
- Experience in luxury or premium retail environments
- Exposure to PLM, POS, or wholesale platforms
- Experience leading small internal and partner teams
