Operations Analyst

OPERATIONS ANALYST

As an Operations Analyst on our Corporate Operations Engineering team, you will work with cross-functional teams including Launch, Production, Recruiting, Security, Finance, HR, and Environmental Health & Safety to provide analytical support for business initiatives. This includes understanding business needs, data workflows across applications and databases, and using SQL & AI tools to analyze data, improve data processes, and build dynamic dashboards with data visualizations that drive business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Integrate data from multiple sources using SQL to optimize data accessibility and reporting capabilities
• Build and maintain insightful dashboards using data visualization tools (like Power BI) to drive business decisions
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets
• Strategize key metrics and dashboard interfaces that best reveal a data story to stakeholders
• Implement best practices in data management, validation, quality, and consolidation to ensure the integrity of the data and the quality of data processes
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop and maintain relationships, understand cross-functional processes and data flow, and enable more powerful analyses and tools

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience developing custom SQL queries
• 1+ years of experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, computer science or engineering
• Experience using AI tooling
• Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements into functional requirements
• Proven analytical skills to properly evaluate and interpret cross-functional business requirements
• Detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency
• Experience working with HR, compliance, or business operations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area
• Position requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed
• Must be willing to travel to other SpaceX and SpaceXAI locations

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Level 1: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00
Level 2: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
