  • Own and support Fabrication Leadership Team (FLT) meetings - including meetings such as FLT SAM - by managing meeting structure, planning and scheduling cycles, coordinating preparation expectations, enabling leadership decision flow, and ensuring comprehensive post-meeting follow-through across all assigned leadership actions.
  • Serve as a cross-MBU integrator by connecting priorities, coordinating operational and program dependencies, ensuring consistent application of Core-driven processes, identifying risks and opportunities in cross-MBU alignment, and partnering with stakeholders to develop clear and actionable mitigation plans.
  • Lead and execute special projects, which may include Coded Projects, by applying disciplined project management and integration practices, shaping scope and structure, coordinating cross-MBU and functional stakeholders, and driving risk-aware, business-aligned outcomes from initiation through implementation.
  • Build strong, collaborative, and influential relationships across MBUs and functional teams by fostering trust, understanding diverse operational perspectives, aligning on shared priorities, and effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders to support process improvements, leadership meeting readiness, and MS&I Core objectives.
  • Drive clear, proactive communication of process changes, operating rhythm expectations, leadership direction, and MS&I Core priorities across FLT, MBU, and functional networks to ensure alignment and readiness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics and operational support for MS&I Core-sponsored leadership engagements - including Business Operations Fireside Chats, Fabrication Leadership Team offsites, and other MS&I Core activities - ensuring seamless preparation, communication, and execution.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
