Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Manager to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise data, reporting, workflow automation, and SharePoint solutions across a large real estate organization. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader who can translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions, actionable insights, and measurable operational improvements.
The successful candidate will bring strong accountability, strategic curiosity, and hands-on expertise in Power BI, data architecture, workflow design, automation, SharePoint, project management, and team leadership. This leader will guide analysts, partner closely with client and account stakeholders, and drive a modern data ecosystem that improves decision-making, strengthens governance, and accelerates continuous improvement.
Experience with real estate technologies such as Yardi, IBM TRIRIGA, and Triana is highly desirable.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

The BI & Data Manager will lead data analytics, governance, reporting, automation, and technology enablement for a complex client account. This role will transform data into clear insights, build scalable reporting solutions, and partner across business and technical teams to deliver measurable value.

  • Design, build, and implement dashboards aligned with the client’s BI platform, global data strategy, and business priorities, including Power BI and TRIANA solutions.
  • Lead the account data governance program, including data standards, data quality, report inventory, data dictionary, and intake/backlog management.
  • Provide solution architecture, design direction, and technical oversight for BI, automation, and workflow solutions.
  • Develop the analytics roadmap with the account team and client, defining schedule, scope, investment, and delivery milestones.
  • Conduct data assessments and mapping exercises to support system integrations, reporting enhancements, and portfolio insights.
  • Translate structured and unstructured data into strategic insights, visualizations, executive-ready reporting, and recommendations.
  • Analyze portfolio trends to identify risks, opportunities, process interdependencies, and operational improvement areas.
  • Partners with senior leadership, business operations, client stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver automation and transformation initiatives.
  • Build short-term BI solutions to meet immediate reporting needs while protecting the integrity of the long-term roadmap.
  • Work with analytics platform teams to ensure dashboard prototypes meet business requirements and align with the data model.
  • Use advanced analytics tools to transform data, automate workflows, and develop practical analytical tools for the business.
  • Provide clear project plans, communication, timelines, documentation, training, and ongoing support for BI and data workstream activities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team that delivers with urgency, quality, and strong client focus.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Technology and Data Systems:

  • Serve as the trusted SME for technology and data systems used by the client and account team, including visualization platforms, real estate management systems, and account-specific tools.
  • Create and maintain training resources that empower team members and clients to use systems confidently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and data quality concerns to support seamless day-to-day operations.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Proactively uncover opportunities to simplify processes, enhance tools, improve user experience, and strengthen data system performance.
  • Design and implement smart, scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery across the client account.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Management, Analytics, or related technical roles.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing technical or analytical teams.
  • Advanced Power BI expertise, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard development, and report optimization.
  • Experience designing and administering SharePoint Online environments that support collaboration, document management, workflow automation, and operational excellence.
  • Strong experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, workflow design, and business process automation across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Experience with SQL, data integration, ETL processes, and database design; Alteryx or Python experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Workspace tools, including Sheets, Slides, Docs, and Gemini, is beneficial.
  • Experience with commercial real estate, CMMS, financial data, or systems such as Yardi, IBM TRIRIGA, and Triana is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to deliver initiatives on schedule and communicate progress clearly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, client-centric, curious about data, and energized by solving complex business problems.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 97,750.00 - $115,000.00
