You have a passion for strategic data and analytics projects where you will be providing project management and operational support. You will play a critical role working with our distribution and investment product partners, senior stakeholders, and enterprise teams to understand their needs, execute analyses, and deliver insights to influence the business strategy.

The Insights and Analytics Group reports into the North America Client Group organization as a function driving business value using internal and external data, predictive analytics, and data science. The group focuses on providing cutting edge business intelligence and advanced analytic solutions to support the distribution efforts within North America Client Group. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for analytics to join the team to support our Strategic Relationship Group.

  • You will leverage data to solve strategic, tactical, structured, and unstructured business problems. 

  • You will define, conduct research and analysis to create data-driven insights about distribution and product effectiveness and opportunities. 

  • You will lead large strategic projects from scope definition to execution and implementation. 

  • You will analyze operational issues with the Insights & Analytics team, partners, and stakeholders to anticipate and assess impacts, recommend a proposed solution, and execute implementation.

  • You will be responsible for interpreting and communicating results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and senior leaders. 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Econometrics or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred. 

  • You have 3+ years of experience in an analytics role which directly supports distribution or investment products.

  • You are proficient in Python or R, SQL, BI tools (such as Databricks, Power BI).

  • You have experience in financial markets, investment management, macroeconomics, or financial advice.  

  • You have proven success in applying analytics results to the practical considerations of day-to-day business challenges. 

  • You have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts, technologies and effectively apply them.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $121,652-$194,643

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
