Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:
Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, informatics or related experience
SQL, Tableau or Power BI skills required
Experience PREFERRED:
Seven (7) years’ experience working in health care or university administration setting providing data analytics
Three (3) years of project management experience
Experience analyzing and implementing solutions in a healthcare environment
Advanced experience using business intelligence tools, i.e., Cognos, SAS, SPSS, Tableau. Advanced SQL skills.
Education/training REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Healthcare Management or related degree from an accredited program
Education/training PREFERRED:
Master’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Healthcare Management or related degree from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required:
Ability to lead, facilitate and support cross functional team projects across the entire organization.
Ability to understand clinical and operational needs from a technical and financial perspective.
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, including senior management, clinical and non-clinical staff.
Ability to deliver clear written reports, presentations, and to graphically present complex data to key stakeholders.
Ability to exercise good judgement and arrive at decisions and recommendations supported by research and data.
Ability to lead efforts to adopt new software and tools to support continued innovation in analytics and healthcare strategy.
Skill in assessing and determining best course of action with the use of data analytics.
Strong creative, analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to analyze data, report, identify trends, and develop sound recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, and the ability to gain proficiency in new analytical tools and software.
