Role Summary

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (Outbound) to help us build pipeline and open doors to high-value partnerships.
As a Business Development Representative at tvScientific, you’ll be the tip of the spear—connecting with decision-makers at top brands and agencies to spark curiosity and start strategic conversations. You’ll drive qualified meetings for our sales team through thoughtful research, personalized messaging, and outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn.

What You'll Do

  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify, research, and reach out to ideal prospects using cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other creative channels
  • Lead Generation: Deliver a consistent flow of high-quality outbound leads that turn into real pipeline
  • Personalized Outreach: Craft tailored, value-driven messages that resonate with each contact
  • Event Outreach: Launch and follow through on targeted outreach campaigns around key industry events—turning interest into booked meetings
  • Account Strategy: Collaborate with sales and marketing to define account targets and align on outbound strategy
  • CRM Management: Keep outreach efforts, lead status, and prospect insights updated and accurate in our CRM
  • Feedback Loop: Share what you're hearing in the field to help shape messaging and campaign strategies

  • Pipeline Contribution: You’re consistently teeing up high-quality meetings that drive sales pipeline and revenue
  • Activity Cadence: You meet or exceed weekly benchmarks across cold calls, emails, and social touches
  • Personalization & Messaging: Your outreach cuts through the noise—earning opens, replies, and real interest
  • Quota Attainment: You reliably hit or beat monthly goals for meetings set and opportunities created
  • Process Discipline: You test, learn, and follow proven playbooks—while constantly improving your craft
  • Collaboration: You work hand-in-hand with sales and marketing to support broader team success


You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are

  • 0–6 months of outbound SDR/BDR experience—or similar hustle in a sales-facing role

  • A proactive mindset with a relentless drive to win

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills—you know how to grab attention and build rapport fast

  • Sharp research and listening skills—you understand pain points and align our value with precision

  • Confidence in cold outreach and objection handling

  • Organized, self-motivated, and great at managing your time


You May Also Have

  • Experience in a startup or early-stage tech environment

  • Familiarity with CTV, adtech, or digital marketing

  • Knowledge of programmatic or performance-based advertising
