About the Role

Sanas is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers across our target markets. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities while also supporting strategic outbound campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is energized by prospecting, enjoys building relationships, and wants to grow their career within a fast-paced AI technology company. As a member of the Marketing team, you will help bridge the gap between demand generation efforts and the sales organization, ensuring high-quality engagement with prospective customers throughout the early stages of the buyer journey.

What You'll Do
  • Engage with inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, webinars, content downloads, and website inquiries.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify prospective customers based on business needs, use cases, budget, timeline, and fit.
  • Schedule meetings and discovery calls for Account Executives and Sales leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance, lead quality, and messaging effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity records within CRM systems.
  • Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives through personalized outreach efforts.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed activity, pipeline generation, and meeting-setting goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Sanas' products and solutions.
  • Contribute ideas to improve prospecting strategies, outreach messaging, and lead conversion processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Lead Generation, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience conducting outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social selling platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Ability to effectively qualify leads and uncover customer needs.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and driven to achieve performance goals.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, technology, or enterprise software environments.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or Gong.
  • Exposure to account-based marketing (ABM) programs and demand generation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market sales organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

At Sanas, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of AI-powered communication while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to innovation, customer success, and growth.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
