Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Business Development Representative for this role will mainly be calling into existing clients versus calling into prospects.  Their role is to set appointments from our existing client base for the sale reps based on the needs of the clients. They would uncover the best vertical fit within OneDigital for the client based on the clients goals or challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers
  • Attends networking events and association activities
  • Conducts high-level business conversations with C-suite executives/decision makers
  • Successfully meets and/or exceeds monthly or quarterly appointment setting goals
  • Assists with driving attendance at area marketing and sales events
  • Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers
  • Forecasts and provides detailed feedback on each call made
  • Collects, enters, and maintains accurate data in CRM
  • Consistently utilizes “Activities” in CRM
  • Supports company-wide PR, marketing and sales initiatives

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Must possess the ability to forecast opportunities and penetrate new business on a daily basis
  • Ability to conduct a high volume of warm and cold sales calls daily
  • Have a passion for social marketing technology
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Be a motivated, highly tenacious self-starter

Education, Training and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a sales organization, preferred
  • 1+ year of high volume outbound phone sales experience, preferred
  • Outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with database applications, Microsoft Office, Salesforce and contact management tools, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Insurance or SaaS industry experience, a plus

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $30 to $35 per hour

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
