Sensata Technologies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the data center infrastructure market. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and equipment manufacturers, and driving adoption of Sensata’s innovative solutions in high-density, AI-driven environments.Sensata Technologies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the data center infrastructure market. General Responsibilities
• Oversees new account development within an established geographic territory/product line.
• Advises on connecting, contacting, and engaging new potential clients and prospects.
• Leads a strong and consistent pipeline of new business.
• Oversees customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
• Innovates and create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services and customers
• Oversees implementing efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in liquid cooling, air cooling, rack-level power distribution, and electrical protection for data centers.

· Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new sensor, switch, and power conversion technologies.

· Build and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, hyperscalers, and system integrators.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and marketing to align customer needs with product roadmaps.

· Lead contract negotiations and support pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams.

· Represent Sensata at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote our differentiated value in cooling and power systems.

Additional Experience Qualifications Preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or technical graduate degree preferred.

· Experience in business development or strategic sales in data center infrastructure, HVAC/R, or electrical systems.

· Proven track record of engaging with hyperscalers and OEMs, and closing complex deals in high-growth verticals.

· Deep understanding of thermal management systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, CDUs, immersion cooling) and rack-level power systems (PDUs, BBUs, HVDC).

· Familiarity with ASHRAE TC 9.9 standards, EPA refrigerant regulations, and sustainability frameworks.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiar with the use of CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage and track progress on campaigns.

· Experience working for industrial manufacturers that produce systems for data centers, such as cooling equipment, electrical protection devices, or integrated rack solutions.

· Exposure to data center OEM ecosystems, including hyperscale design-build partners and infrastructure vendors.

· Ability to travel international or domestic

Base Salary Range:  $116,500.00 - $174,700.00
