Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales in an assigned geographical area in the cardiovascular specialty market promoting a cardiac monitoring system platform. This will be a salary + commission position.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve maximum sales volume of the promoted product to clinics, physicians, hospitals, integrated health systems and other approved distribution outlets.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and account management with physicians, nurses, key office personnel, laboratory personnel and administrators
  • Leverage resources within a defined budget
  • Responsible for coordination and completion of promotional programs to generate demand including in-services, patient education, and educational dinner programs
  • Maintain communication with other team members for successful collaboration 
  • Represent company and product at professional industry meetings and seminars
  • Some overnight travel is a possibility

 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the cardiology clinic setting
  • Familiarity of the functionality of the local medical center
  • Documented success of sales performance
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Above average analytical skills
  • Travel when necessary to perform duties of the job
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Must live in the geographical boundaries of the territory

Preferred: Business Development or Key Account Management experience
