Drive recruitment and onboarding of third-party sellers, manage seller relationships, negotiate agreements, analyze sales data and marketplace trends, collaborate cross-functionally to improve seller experience, and provide pipeline and performance reports to support marketplace growth.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to recruit new third-party sellers and expand product offerings across key categories.
- Identify, approach, and onboard qualified sellers, ensuring a smooth setup process.
- Manage ongoing seller relationships, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and performance improvement.
- Negotiate and close new seller agreements in collaboration with senior management.
- Analyze sales data, identify business opportunities, and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
- Monitor marketplace trends and competitor activities to refine outreach and sales strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, finance, and operations teams to improve seller experience and resolve issues.
- Provide consistent pipeline updates, performance reports, and forecasts to management.
- Participate in industry events and business development initiatives to strengthen Newegg’s brand presence and partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, marketplace sales, or e-commerce account management.
- Experience with third-party provider platforms such as Rithum (ChannelAdvisor) or SalesCloud is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, digital sales strategies, and online retail ecosystems.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and partnership goals.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a customer-centric mindset.
