The Role
Presidio Business Data Analyst  primary responsibility is to act as a subject matter expert for Presidio’s Enterprise Licensing Agreement and Software Offerings, working in conjunction with the Business Development Managers, Account Teams and Inside Sales to support the software sales cycle. They will be responsible for assisting the customer-facing asset management team in providing actionable insight into customers based on data from multiple sources. Applicants will be expected to develop new processes to help with the management, consumption, and utilization of data to achieve customer objectives. Business Analysts provide insight to help identify potential technology refresh sale opportunities, as well as improving customer satisfaction through accurate management of data.This role will be foundational to the creation of a new team within Presidio and has the potential to expand to a team leader/management role as the solution scales. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Create Monthly MACD Reports – Analyze which assets belong to each business unit and correct alignment if there is a conflict based on established hierarchy of data source validity.
  • Recommends MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes) activities, deliverables, prepare for presentation to end-customer for approval.
  • Align Business Rules for MACD/Audits to establish process to reduce Presidio efforts – Note to Presidio Asset Management Customer-Facing Team if there is a continued violation or misaligned effort so customer-facing team can discuss with the customer.
  • Review and Identify data discrepancies – Identify new items for each refresh of the data.
  • Implementation of MACD clean up and processes based on customer guidance.
  • Review and prepare customer-facing analysis of all outstanding MACD action items (Financially impacting & Non-Financially impacting). Bring findings to customer-facing team for dissemination to client.
  • Provide insights around on-going audits of data sets (i.e. Collector, SNOW, FN, etc.) and/or conflicting data for improvement of install base accuracy.
  • Support of EA subscriptions in tracking and managing upcoming true forwards in order to either fix incorrect license accounting or to prepare customer for upcoming charges. Analyst will provide reports to customer-facing asset management team.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Agreement Specialist for each account, to provide actionable insights to customer regarding license consumption, and value shift.
  • Audit, validate, and align data export of Cisco service contract characteristics and details.
  • Audit Collector file against asset management data, any assets only found in the Collector. Research these items with the OEM.

Required Skills and Professional Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of Data Analytics
