Summary: The Senior Business Analyst is a customer-focused role that transforms data into actionable insights to drive business processes and monitoring. This position collaborates to provide relevant analysis and complete, timely reporting to meet TriWest business needs and Government Healthcare requirements. The role involves facilitating meetings, identifying, collecting, organizing, and prioritizing data requirements, and suggesting business process changes to meet reporting needs. It clarifies complex business issues and recommends solutions, advocating for business process improvements through data analysis, process changes, and technology applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project team assignments of moderate scope, coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Document the reporting process and collaborate with team members as part of the business analytics team.
  • Respond quickly to provide data and answer detailed questions on data and trends.
  • Educate end users on report interpretations by narrating the story behind the data.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain quality IT solutions supporting business processes, adhering to IT guidelines and architectures.
  • Balance client requirements with preferred technical architecture, recommending innovative solutions.
  • Provide client support consistent with service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring technical soundness and compliance with quality and timeliness standards.
  • Simplify or eliminate low value-added work processes.
  • Enhance understanding of the client's business environment, priorities, and emerging technology issues.
  • Deliver analysis/reporting products while managing client expectations and ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Analyze and identify core business processes for application design.
  • Communicate issues openly, honestly, and timely with peers, management, and customers.
  • Prepare and present new initiatives to senior leadership to gain buy-in and support.
  • Work with vendors to clarify and resolve tool/software functionality issues.
  • Participate in defining, implementing, and executing best practices.
  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or any other relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment with minimal travel.
  • Work non-regular hours as required.
