Role Summary:
Penta is seeking a Brand Strategist to join our remote team. Brand Strategists help bring our creative campaigns to life, working closely with designers, strategists, directors, managing directors, and partners across multiple clients and projects. A successful candidate is intellectually curious, eager to learn and contribute, works well in teams, and is interested in developing creative solutions that help solve complex challenges. 

The Brand Strategist is expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with creative, paid media, and production teams developing brand strategy and creative campaign recommendations for clients

  • Draft planning materials to ensure high-quality, strategically sound creative deliverables, including project proposals, strategy briefs, and creative briefs

  • Inform strategy for and project manage comprehensive creative campaign assets, including TV/video, digital, social, or audio ads; websites, event activations, and brand identity systems 

  • Work in collaboration with paid media/ads management team to report on campaign performance and optimization recommendations for clients

  • Follow clients' businesses and industries to maintain a current knowledge base and keep the team apprised of new and ongoing developments

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • Up to 1 year of full-time or internship experience in a multi-client agency focused on brand management, creative strategy, or a similar role

  • Past experience creating compelling presentations using PowerPoint or Google Slides

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in storytelling and creative conceptualization

  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities

  • Strong analytical skills, such as experience with qualitative or quantitative market research, or campaign analytics

  • The ability to take initiative; motivated and self-starting

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience using AI and emerging technologies, where appropriate, to enhance efficiency, quality, and impact, while staying current on evolving capabilities and incorporating relevant innovations into day-to-day work
  • An understanding of project management best practices, such as project management software or project management paradigms

  • Experience working on content for complex stakeholder audiences like policymakers, investors, or media

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with data management

  • Past experience utilizing Excel or Google Sheets to track campaigns or creative projects
  • Demonstrated project management experience working with creatives or production agencies

  • Experience working on creative projects in complex, or highly regulated, industries like Technology, Financial Services, Energy, Healthcare, etc.

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position will be $57,000 - $67,000 depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location and Remote Schedule:

This position is for US-based personnel and is fully remote. Core hours for the role will be 11 am - 5 pm ET. Regardless of geolocation, everyone on the team is expected to work an eight hour day and be online during this window, excluding standard lunch and break times.
