About the Role

We are partnering with a fast-growing international streetwear brand looking for a Creative Strategist to shape the creative direction behind high-impact product launches and marketing campaigns.

This is a unique opportunity to build a new strategic function within the business, combining consumer psychology, brand storytelling, and creative marketing to influence purchasing behaviour and strengthen an engaged global community.

Working closely with Design, Marketing, and Production teams, you will develop concepts that translate cultural insights into campaigns that drive engagement, brand loyalty, and commercial success.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the psychology behind why people buy—not just how to advertise products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop creative campaign strategies rooted in consumer psychology and behavioural insights

  • Translate concepts such as identity, belonging, scarcity, exclusivity, and community into compelling product launches

  • Generate creative concepts for frequent product releases within a fast-paced environment

  • Create authentic campaign narratives that resonate with niche lifestyle communities

  • Collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Production teams to deliver campaigns on schedule

  • Analyse campaign performance and continuously optimise future launches using data and customer insights

  • Establish and shape the company's creative strategy function from the ground up

  • Work independently within a globally distributed remote team

Required Profile
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Creative Strategy, Brand Strategy, Product Marketing, Consumer Marketing, or Campaign Strategy

  • Proven experience within streetwear, apparel, skate, tattoo culture, music merchandise, alternative fashion, or similar subculture brands

  • Portfolio or case studies demonstrating measurable campaign results

  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and behavioural marketing principles

  • Ability to transform customer insights into commercially successful campaigns

  • Comfortable working with unconventional, bold, or alternative creative concepts

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Canva, or similar marketing tools

  • Fluent English (C1 level or above)

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in an asynchronous environment

Nice to Have
  • Academic background in Consumer Psychology, Behavioural Science, Marketing, or related discipline

  • Experience launching products in e-commerce environments

  • Experience working within remote international teams

  • Passion for alternative culture, streetwear, tattoo art, music, or creative communities

What's on Offer
  • Fully remote position — work from anywhere in the world

  • Competitive remuneration package

  • Opportunity to build and own a brand-new strategic function

  • Complete creative ownership and autonomy

  • Fast-moving environment where ideas are implemented quickly

  • Small, agile, international team

  • Clear opportunity to make a visible impact on a growing global brand

Why Join?

If you're passionate about understanding why consumers connect with brands, enjoy transforming behavioural insights into memorable campaigns, and thrive in creative environments where originality matters, this is an opportunity to shape the future of an internationally recognised lifestyle brand.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
