Job Description:
Job Title: Brand Engagement Manager I
Position Type: 11-12 Months Contract
Location:  El Segundo, CA 90245
Salary Range: $60/hr - $69/hr (USD) on W2
Job Summary (Responsibilities and Requirements):
  • What stands out: Proactive, manager will be in NYC, need to be able to reach out on their own.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Identify brands needs, design creative and adapted testing plans & methodologies for brand and portfolio building, manage testing budget.
  • Execute & activate the agreed research plan: agency proposition, hot debrief/workshop, global analysis/connecting dots into action-oriented recommendations.
  • Communicate high quality recommendations at the right level in the organization to impact business decisions.

BRAND STRATEGY
  • Transform data & insights into concrete strategic actions partnering with the brand teams.
  • Feed consumer centricity for multidisciplinary brand teams (marketing, retail, social, education…) by sharing consumer insights and business intelligence expertise, selecting key consumer insight topics based on brand strategy.
  • Keep a constant connection to the consumers with a future forward vision by sourcing foresights, following trends.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with brand team, become a key strategic partner for brand and portfolio development.
Profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with concentration in market research, psychology, sociology, or marketing.
  • 6-7 years of experience in consumer research / consumer insights
  • Experience in the luxury industry (beauty, clothing, travel…), its codes and expressions.
  • Experience across an array of strategic qualitative and quantitative research methodologies: brand DNA, segmentation, positioning, product testing, ad testing, tracking studies…
  • Experience in supporting brand development is preferred.
  • Experience in beauty industry is preferred.
  • Experience in monitoring and testing with social platforms (TikTok, Insta, web listening…)
Skills
  • Analytical and synthetic mindset, ability to synthesize data & insights across multiple sources of information.
  • Sensitivity to brand equity, brand positioning and targeting.
  • Strong sense of curiosity and questioning, passion for innovation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to structure and deliver succinct and concise presentations.
  • Ability to work with remote and diverse teams.
  • Organized, structured and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while keeping the objectives and timings in focus.
