This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper. They operate in the behavioral health sector and have strengthened their operations over the past few years by expanding services, improving patient support systems, and investing in more efficient administrative processes. This role will help maintain smooth financial operations through consistent bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance support.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, highly organized, and confident managing U.S. bookkeeping and reporting requirements. The right candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to communicate clearly when handling financial data or requesting missing information.

Responsibilities
  • Complete weekly bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial activity is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports with clear formatting, strong data organization, and reliable insights.

  • Organize and prepare documentation required for tax filings and year-end reporting.

  • Support the completion of all required filings, including unemployment and compliance-related submissions.

  • Maintain accurate records in Excel and QuickBooks, updating entries, reconciling accounts, and verifying accuracy.

  • Produce well-structured financial reports that are easy for leadership to interpret and use.

  • Communicate regularly with the team to request missing documents, clarify discrepancies, or provide status updates.

  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain an organized digital filing structure for all financial documents.



Requirements
  • Experience performing weekly bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. accounting and tax-related processes.

  • Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and general financial reporting tools.

  • Ability to produce accurate, polished financial reports.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

  • High level of organization and consistency in documentation.

Qualifications
  • Background in bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial operations.

  • Familiarity with preparing tax documentation and managing compliance filings.

  • Ability to manage recurring financial tasks with minimal oversight.
