Biorepository Associate

Job Overview:

The Biorepository Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt, QC, and storage of clinical specimens, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with receipt of consignments and shipments.

• Open shipments and perform quality checks of patient info forms, escalating issues as needed.

• Coordinate shipments for long-term storage or client sample disposition.

• Support after-hour alarms or other critical functions and assist in equipment maintenance.

• Maintain supply inventory and general cleanliness of workstations.

• Perform administrative duties, including organizing work areas as directed by management.

• Handle receipt of compounds and control material, dependent on functional area.

• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuing education.

• Perform work in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with standard safety procedures and practices in laboratory or biorepository settings.

• Ability to manage tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
