Biorepository Associate

We are seeking a Biorepository Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at our Valencia, CA location.

Shift : Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

The Biorepository Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt, QC, and storage of clinical specimens.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Assist with receipt of consignments and shipments.

• Open shipments and perform quality checks of patient info forms, escalating incorrect or missing information, or damaged shipments to senior staff.

• Handle shipments to facilitate long-term storage or clients and sample disposition.

• Support and respond to after-hour alarms and other job-critical functions.

• Assist in maintenance of equipment.

• Help with supply inventory functions and general cleanup of workstations.

• Perform various administrative duties as required.

• Organize the work area, as requested by management.

What We are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices, including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling.

• Experience with maintaining lab equipment and handling various lab supplies.

• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
