The Commercial (Revenue) Accounting team at CoreWeave is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable revenue reporting. As we continue to expand our offerings and scale our operations, this team partners cross-functionally with Billing Engineering, Sales, Order Management, and broader Finance to build processes and systems that support a seamless customer billing experience, SOX compliance, and long-term growth.
About the Role:You’ll be a key leader in CoreWeave’s Commercial Accounting function, managing the customer billing process, driving automation, and contributing to high-impact projects, including billing system implementations and SOX controls. You'll act as a primary liaison between billing operations and internal stakeholders, including Sales and Product teams, while mentoring others on the team. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and plays a vital role in scaling our billing function in alignment with company growth.
In this role, you will:
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all customers.
Review monthly invoices and provide metrics to Finance leadership.
Partner across Finance, Order Management, and Engineering to optimize the billing experience.
Lead or contribute to system enhancement and billing automation initiatives.
Act as a subject matter expert for high-profile projects and billing system implementations.
Design, implement, and execute SOX controls.
Train and develop members of the billing and broader commercial accounting team.
Evaluate new product launches for impacts on billing operations and accounting workflows.
Serve as a go-to contact for internal stakeholders and customer billing inquiries.
6+ years of progressive experience at global B2B high-tech companies, with at least 2+ years in a managerial capacity.
Hands-on experience with usage-based billing models.
Strong experience with NetSuite and other ERP or financial systems.
Proven track record of leading or contributing to system enhancement and automation projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage and simplify complex billing workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of SOX compliance and control design.
Experience working in a high-growth or hyper-scale technology environment.
Familiarity with modern billing platforms and financial reporting tools.

The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $127,000 to $168,000 and $145,000 to $194,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
