The Bilingual Legal Assistant supports attorneys in personal injury cases through discovery work, client communication, document preparation, and case management, ensuring efficient handling of cases.
We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Newport Beach and are seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in discovery work and have excellent organizational skills.
As an Attorney Assistant, you will be responsible for updating clients on the status of their case, requesting missing records, bills and evidence, and following up on settlement agreements and settlement checks with insurance carriers. The Attorney Assistant will primarily be responsible for handling discovery tasks and will assist Attorneys as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions.
- Provide support to attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, including client communication, document preparation, and case management.
- Conduct legal research and assist with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and motions.
- Maintain and organize case files, including electronic and paper documents.
- Review discovery documents and summarize key information for attorneys
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and documents related to their cases.
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree equivalent is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of cases.
- Personal injury experience is a plus, but not required.
