HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Develop, design, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports in Looker, leveraging LookML for efficient data modeling.
  • Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Analyze data to uncover trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain a centralized data model to ensure consistency and accuracy across BI tools.
  • Conduct performance tuning of queries and dashboards for optimal performance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
  • Champion best practices in data visualization, analytics, and storytelling.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in BI tools, analytics, and visualization trends.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a BI Engineer or a LooKML developer.
  • Proficiency in Looker and LookML for building and managing data models and visualizations.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex, efficient queries.
  • Solid understanding of data analytics, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and creating user-friendly dashboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
