About Elevate Leadership and the Role

Come join us! At Elevate Leadership, we believe who you work for is everything. It shapes whether you end your day energized or drained by it. Our mission is simple: help managers become the kind of leader others want to work for.

We partner with some of the world's fastest-growing companies to build modern leadership capabilities through coaching, workshops, AI-enabled practice, and customized leadership programs.

We're at an exciting stage of growth and looking for a fractional B2B Lifecycle Marketing Manager to think strategically about, and execute on, the marketing channels that connect us with our community of People and HR leaders. You'll own email strategy and execution, webinar marketing, organic social, and our podcast People Are The Worst.

This role will work closely with our Founders, Head of Marketing, and the VP of Revenue & Customer Success.

Why This Role Matters

Email, social, and our podcast are how we build relationships with thousands of People and HR leaders. This role brings strategy and follow-through to all of it, turning each channel into a more intentional, data-driven engine for audience growth and customer engagement.

What You're Walking Into

You're not starting from zero. You're joining a company with real momentum, an incredible client base, and a team that genuinely supports one another.

An Incredible Roster of Clients

  • We designed and delivered management training at Anthropic and supported founders and executives through coaching
  • We've partnered with Stripe on global management training for the past 8 years
  • We are consistently referred business from top venture firms including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Sequoia Capital, and General Catalyst
  • Elevate Leadership was named a Top Leadership Training Company to Watch in 2025 and 2026 by Training Industry

A Highly Collaborative Team

We care deeply about the people we work with and the way we work together. Elevate has built a culture that is ambitious, supportive, low-ego, and highly collaborative. Our day-to-day is guided by five values: Focus on Impact, Stay Relevant, Be Resourceful, Keep it in Perspective, and Check the Data. You'll work alongside a team that genuinely wants each other to succeed.

What You'll Do

You'll bring strategic thinking and execution to each of the channels below.

Email & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Run our email correspondence from strategy through execution in HubSpot
  • Build a real customer segmentation strategy across prospects, current customers, and past customers, with content and cadence tailored to each
  • Partner with the VP of Revenue & Customer Success on customer lifecycle marketing, translating what's working in customer conversations into email programs that deepen engagement
  • Bring an analytical lens to email performance and net dollar retention metrics, and use it to inform what we send next
  • Learn from Sales and Customer Success about customer objections, what closes deals, and what customers love, to help shape what we publish.
  • Pre and post event marketing

Organic Social

  • Own Elevate's organic presence across LinkedIn and other social media, which includes the company and two founder accounts
  • Build a content calendar that reflects our brand voice and the topics our audience actually cares about, tailoring content to each founders voice and area of expertise
  • Use data to understand what's resonating and adjust accordingly

Podcast (People Are The Worst)

  • Own our podcast end-to-end. Manage the founders' recording schedule and episode content, coordinate production, and oversee distribution across Apple, Spotify, and YouTube. Roughly 3 of every 4 episodes are founder-led; the remainder require sourcing and securing high-quality external guests in the Leadership and People space.
  • Create and edit clips for YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social channels
  • Develop and test strategies to grow subscribers and listens, and report on what's working
  • Pitch the founders as guests on relevant external podcasts to expand reach

Who You Are

You're a strategic operator who can do the work and think about the work. You're not waiting for a brief. When a founder mentions they're speaking at an event, you've already looked up the audience, drafted the social post, and mapped out the follow-up sequence. You connect the dots before anyone asks you to.

You likely bring:

  • 5–8 years of marketing experience, ideally with depth across email, social, and content
  • B2B lifecycle marketing experience
  • A strong analytical mindset; comfortable building reports, reading them, and changing course based on what they say
  • Experience owning email strategy and execution in HubSpot, including segmentation and automation
  • A track record of growing audiences on LinkedIn or at least one other major social channel
  • Strong writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to match a brand voice
  • Hands-on with AI as a building tool. You've built reusable workflows in Claude (or similar) including projects, prompts, content systems, that other people on your team can pick up and run.
  • Comfort working with executive stakeholders and developing strategy without a roadmap handed to you. You identify the right moves, execute on them, and stay open to feedback as you learn.
  • Bonus points for tech, professional services, or L&D.

There are many paths to success in this role. If your experience differs from the list above but you believe you could thrive here, we encourage you to apply.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
