We’re actively seeking a talented Assistant Vice President, PPLI, to lead our Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) team.
As an AVP, PPLI, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by leading our successful and growing PPLI platform, which includes operations and marketing. You will fill an existing role that sits in a team of 5 people in the Consumer Markets Division. Your colleagues will include Fund and Operations Administrators, and you will work with legal, finance, treasury, and distribution professionals.

How you’ll help move us forward:
•    Manage IDF/SMA Administrators for onboarding of new Insurance Dedicated Funds (IDFs) and Separate Managed Accounts (SMAs), and processing of subscriptions and redemptions.
•    Manage Operations Administrator who is responsible for facilitating operations flow between internal departments, e.g., treasury and accounting, and third party groups, e.g., M Financial (new business and client services) and McCamish (policy holder administration and reporting).

•    Identify operational issues and inefficiencies and execute solutions.
•    Work with VP Distribution to manage relationships with financial professionals to market, issue, and service PPLI business.
•   Work with VP Distribution to identify and execute PPLI growth opportunities, such as new relationships with distribution, fund administrators, fund managers, and custodians.

The experience you bring:
•    10+ years’ PPLI experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role
•    Series 6 or 7 and 24 or 26 securities licenses
•    Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skill set

$180,000 - $220,000

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
