We are seeking an experienced Avaya VoIP Engineer IV to provide dedicated onsite and remote support for the Avaya voice infrastructure at Covenant Health facilities across Knoxville, TN and the surrounding region.
In this role, you will serve as the key technical resource responsible for maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting complex issues, performing installations, and ensuring a stable Avaya environment across multiple locations.
What You’ll Do- Provide onsite and remote technical support for Avaya communication infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues impacting voice services.
- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Avaya equipment.
- Maintain working knowledge of the customer environment, including all supported locations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure system stability.
- Respond to after-hours or weekend support needs when maintenance or urgent repairs are required.
- Proven experience supporting Avaya VoIP systems in an enterprise environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex telephony issues.
- Hands-on experience installing Avaya hardware and related components.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong customer communication.
- Willingness and availability to travel onsite as needed.
- Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.
