Job Duties:
- Lead teams of senior and staff accountants.
- Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements.
- Ensure quality of work product.
- Monitor work flow.
- Coach/mentor individual team members.
- Provide formal and informal feedback.
- Communicate progress to partners.
- Develop business with both existing and new clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with client personnel and prospective clients.
- Identify areas to help clients improve their internal controls.
- Work on transactional projects as needed.
- Participate and/or conduct technical training sessions as needed.
- Travel: 30% domestic and international travel required to visit clients' sites to do fieldwork such as meeting with management, confirmation procedures, or testing on the sample selections.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Accounting or related.
- Five years of post-degree, progressively responsible work experience in the job offered or as a Senior Accountant or related.
- Requires 5 years of work experience with 1) International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and footnote disclosures; and 2) International tax compliance in Hong Kong and China.
