The Role

Great strategy starts with asking better questions. As an Audience & Connections Strategist on our Strategy & Insights team, you’ll dig into audience behavior, culture, competition, and market trends to uncover the insights that help our enterprise clients make smarter decisions.

You’ll turn research into compelling stories, map consumer journeys, contribute to client strategy, and partner across Creative, Media, and Data & Analytics to bring ideas to life. If you’re naturally curious, love finding the “why” behind the data, and know how to turn an insight into a clear story and strategic opportunity, we’d love to meet you!

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $68,000 - $78,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
 
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions
**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be

  • Research Execution: Pulling data and synthesizing research across Consumer, Company, Category, and Culture (4 Cs) to surface opportunities and barriers for client brands.
  • Deck & Presentation Support: Drafting preliminary strategic recommendations, competitive audits, and client presentation slides under guidance from senior strategists.
  • Audience & Journey Mapping: Assisting in building consumer journey maps, identifying key digital touchpoints, high-intent moments, and channel-specific communication tasks.
  • Trend & Market Monitoring: Tracking emerging digital, cultural, and industry trends to fuel creative brainstorms and keep the agency team informed.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partnering with creative, media, and data & analytics teams on day-to-day deliverables to ensure concepts align with strategic objectives.
  • New Business Support: Supporting pitch teams by conducting background research, organizing market data, and contributing ideas in pitch brainstorms.

You Must Have

  • 3–5 years of experience, ideally within a digital agency, marketing research firm
  • A natural urge to dig past surface-level numbers to uncover the human behaviors underneath
  • A baseline understanding of core digital marketing channels (e.g., paid social, search, CTV, content, UX)
  • Familiarity with audience research platforms (e.g., MRI/Simmons, Kantar, GWI, Resonate, MediaRadar, Pathmatics), Social
  • Listening platforms,  and an interest in using AI tools to accelerate research synthesis
  • Proficiency in Google Slides, with experience building and formatting polished, professional presentations and decks
  • Clear, organized written and verbal communication, with strong presentation skills and attention to detail when developing and delivering decks, documents, and other client-facing materials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
