Job Description Summary:
The Attorney Recruiting Assistant provides general administrative support to the Summer Program and lateral recruitment functions of the Recruiting Department.This position offers a hybrid schedule and requires three days on-site per week in office with the possibility of additional required in-office days depending on business and client needs. The work schedule for this position will be 40 hours per week (non-exempt), Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Job Description:
- Monitor and maintain Recruiting Department inbox, including responding to inquiries and sharing emails with the appropriate parties as needed.
- Assist with applicant correspondence and submission process.
- Maintain inventory of physical recruiting supplies including recruitment, brochures, marketing materials, and promotional items.
- Maintain electronic files and records, including annual file clean-up and records management.
- Process invoices for payment using appropriate billing accounts. Handle check requests and departmental invoices.
- Update and maintain recruiting calendar and contacts.
- Assistant with summer associate and lateral candidate interview process, including scheduling meetings and evaluation forms, scheduling follow-up interviews, and greeting candidates online. Compile evaluations for the Recruiting Committee and/or Practice Area Leaders, update and maintain applicant records in Workday and other platforms, and monitor follow-up communications.
- Assist with preparing for OCI including registration, resume organization, and interviewer outreach.
- Handle offer correspondence and new hire processing.
- Coordinate expense and cost sharing for all candidates. Maintain expense records, initiate reimbursement requests and process reimbursement requests for payment.
- Update and maintain recruiting databases, including Lawcruit, Workday, SmartSheet and other platforms as needed.
- Assist with various aspects of planning and executing the Firm’s annual Summer Program, including orientation and event planning, assistance with Summer Associate Work Assignment System, tracking evaluations, and coordinating mid- and end-of-summer reviews. Attend Summer Program events on an as-needed basis.
- Work closely with Recruiting department team members on various tasks, including but not limited to: assist with spring presentations and receptions, program and travel arrangements, Summer Program events, meeting and conference room and food reservations, lateral hiring and candidate follow up.
- Design and create Attorney Recruiting newsletters as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of attorney recruiting processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure.
- Ability to communicate and interface with others effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Computer proficient with the ability to enter information to a database
- Proficient in MS Office and recruiting database software, preferably Workday and LawCruit.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Attorney Recruiting, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a law firm or professional service setting. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.

The anticipated range for this position is:
$57,000 - $77,250Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance. Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
