Summary of Position

The Associate Producer is responsible for managing several internal projects and features for a successful live game launch. This includes executing the vision of the Producer by collaborating with various departments and ensuring the timely, high quality delivery of game features.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates tasks, resources, and dependencies across a wide range of internal teams (DevOps, Infosec, QA, Localization) and external partners to deliver game milestone objectives
  • Helps maintain and track established milestones and features for the game
  • Collaborates with the team to support operations for launching a live game and supporting live game after launch
  • Takes an active role in creating proposals for the game to be developed
  • Setup KPI tracking for launching of the game as well as reviews all relevant game health metrics (KPIs, server stats, other metrics) to identify current and potential issues and collaborates with teams to resolve them
  • Participates in an on-call rotation to respond to emergencies or critical live environment issues after the game is launched
  • Mentors Production Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience

  • 3-4 years of game production experience with track record of launching multiple titles
  • 2+ year live game experience preferred
  • Experience managing game features or pipelines from start to finish

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of live and online game player behavior
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving ability
  • Knowledge of the game industry including emerging trends with a focus on the markets served by Nexon
  • Preferably a gamer at heart
  • High level understanding of online environments and processes required to maintain high uptime
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional project and time management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $70,000 - $83,000 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
