Our HR Technology and Operations (HRTO) organization oversees the global HR technology and analytics strategy and portfolio and provides HR shared services and operational support across the enterprise. Analytics is key capability in HRTO, with a growing centralized People reporting and analytics team.
The People Analytics Manager plays a vital role in the team, driving the foundational work necessary to deliver and execute analytics solutions and products.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will drive impact by building the data foundations for People Analytics AI-enabled products and ensuring data readiness for integrated analytics. Your responsibilities will include:
·Streamlining data management, building automated data pipelines, and creating data products for People Analytics to advance business intelligence capabilities within the HR function.
Building, maintaining, and managing security pipelines for People Analytics products to reduce compliance risks and ensure controlled access.
Developing People Analytics-specific data products leveraging Python and Microsoft Fabric to enable faster, cleaner, and more reliable data integration into PowerBI.
Building and maintaining robust and scalable semantic data models for AI-ready People Analytics dashboards to increase self-service analytics adoption.
Managing continuous People Analytics data updates and automating data pipelines to reduce manual intervention and improve data accuracy.
Partnering with HR Technology and Tech@Lilly (IT) to support the foundational build and testing of data integration into the HR Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Managing team documentation and business continuity plans.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology or related field
3+ years of relevant professional experience in reporting and analytics and/or data engineering
Hands-on experience extracting reports in HR Systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, etc.)
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in data management using SQL or Microsoft Fabric (preferred)
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with analytics/statistical tools: R or Python (preferred)
Intermediate to advanced skills in data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI (preferred)

Solid understanding of Human Resources data and related business processes
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with HR and non-HR stakeholders

Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance, proactively identifying and executing tasks
Capable of recognizing opportunities for process improvement and implementing sustainable, innovative solutions
Demonstrates strong motivation, rapid learning abilities, and a growth mindset
Additional Information:
The preferred location for this position in Indianapolis, however remote work may be considered. Travel <10% if based in Indianapolis; 15% if remote.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$57,750 - $129,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
