Job Description

This Associate eCommerce Account Manager, Amazon for our Master Lock brand will assist in managing the strategic partnership of Master Lock and Sentry Safe® products with Amazon. This is a key sales role, responsible for collaborating with customers and cross-functionally within other various customer departments. You will work with multiple areas within The Master Lock Company, providing feedback and insights to the e-Comm team & to other cross-functional groups within the organization such as Demand Planning, Product Mgmt, Finance and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing or supporting the Amazon eCommerce account within a consumer products, durables, or retail brand. They will bring strong analytical skills, fluency in Amazon Vendor Central, and a proactive mindset to help drive profitable growth through data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insight.

Location: This is a remote position based in the Seattle, WA area, open to candidates with direct Amazon account management experience. We anticipate up to 5% travel.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify trends and formulate action plans for growing product categories by analyzing POS, inventory, orders, and competitive landscape
  • Provide support on Amazon Advertising, analyze performance metrics, suggest optimizations, and liaise with agency partners
  • Feed product team with insights on emerging products and competitors in spaces TMLC currently does not play 
  • Analyze assortment productivity and sales performance to support decision making related to advertisement, promotions, and content improvement
  • Create, maintain, and analyze relevant dashboards/reports and present findings
  • Anticipate demand shifts by analyzing glance views and conversion data to better inform business of demand trends and shifts.
  • Identify demand patterns and recommend actions to minimize impact of cancelled orders
  • Evaluate conversion and search metrics to understand how products fluctuate against avg. rankings  Develop pricing recommendations to maximize sales based on historical changes, promotions, etc.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to secure forecasts in line with channel plans and financial forecasts
  • Work with Sales and Product to develop better forecasts for new product launches. 
  • Assist in portfolio streamlining efforts by analyzing where sales migrate when buy boxes are down/products are out of stock/low availability/streamlined
  • Provide support for financial forecasting, including assisting in monthly sales projections and quantifying risks and opportunities
  • Take part in annual budgeting process to quantify share loss/gains, new product impacts, major events, and promotions 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working in Amazon Vendor Central
  • 3+ years of experience in Analytics / Finance / Marketing / Sales
  • Strong understanding of Amazon selling environment and platforms
  • High proficiency in Excel/Tableau and data analysis
  • Team player who can effectively balance customer and company objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Proven negotiation skills and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of developing and introducing merchandising programs

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or similar

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $67,000 USD - $101,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
