An Associate Manager, Legal Operations, you will report to the Director of Global Legal Talent Development & Inclusion and play a critical role in helping bring to life our strategy around talent development and engagement for our department.

In this role, you will help manage the planning and execution of Legal and Enterprise Governance (EG) department-wide initiatives—including onboarding, training and education, professional development, pro bono, and communication and engagement efforts. You will be responsible for building and managing structured programs that scale, driving delivery excellence, developing dashboards and reporting mechanisms, and coordinating across global stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate brings exceptional program and project management skills, fluency with data and metrics, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You should be proactive and collaborative to deliver high-impact, cohesive experiences for the Legal Department and broader Enterprise Governance function. This is a newly created role that will help build infrastructure that enables our people, programs, and platforms to thrive. 

10% travel to occasional meetings within the United States.

What you will do

Program and Project Management 

  • Serve as the operational lead for Legal and EG department-wide Talent, Inclusion and Engagement initiatives, including onboarding, education and development programs, engagement campaigns, and pro bono events. 

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for ongoing and new initiatives, monitor progress, risks, and dependencies. 

  • Partner with the Director to transform strategy into execution with scalable systems and sustainable processes that support long-term growth. 

Platform & Knowledge Governance 

  • Help manage governance and continuous improvement efforts for the internal SharePoint site, including site structure, related working groups, content lifecycle management, taxonomy, and update content. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build and maintain alignment between the site and key department systems managing knowledge, key processes and information, such as the document management system, workflow automation tools and communication, education, and functional onboarding goals. 

  • Coordinate with resources responsible for SharePoint content design and execution to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. 

Education and Development 

  • Support the planning and delivery of legal education and professional development programming by designing curriculum and related presentations and workshops, managing program execution, collaborating with internal subject matter experts and law firms, and ensuring alignment to learning goals. 

  • Help build scalable learning paths across multiple levels and functions, supporting continuing legal education (CLE) compliance and department-wide skill building. 

  • Assist in curating and maintaining resources and supporting the implementation of CLE governance models. 

Metrics, Dashboards and Reporting 

  • Build and maintain metrics capturing value, dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor participation, engagement, and program impact across initiatives. 

  • Use data to identify trends, surface improvement opportunities, and support leadership decision-making. 

  • Develop executive-ready communication materials that share program outcomes and track progress against strategic objectives. 

Communications & Engagement 

  • Partner with the broader GLO team to help manage internal communication efforts, including quarterly newsletters, campaign messaging, and onboarding communications.

  • Support department-wide engagement events and initiatives. 

  • Ensure communication is clear, engaging, and aligned with the voice and goals of the Legal and Enterprise Governance Departments. 

          

What you need

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 6+ years of professional experience. 

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in project management, program operations within the legal operations or talent development industry.

  • Strong skills in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint design, Power BI. 

  • Experience designing and managing dashboards, pulling insights from data, and communicating performance metrics. 

  • Experience independently managing large, multi-stakeholder programs from concept through delivery. 

Preferred

  • PMP or formal training in project management is a plus

  • Experience in Asana platform is highly desirable

  • Experience governance of program management protocols

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to tailor communication to a variety of audiences. 

  • Experience working in large matrix global organizations

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work respectfully and effectively with cross-functional global partners and contractors. 

$100,000-$215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
