Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical designs for commercial and industrial projects.
- Use Revit® and AutoCAD to prepare difficult and complex electrical layouts and design drawings using theoretical and practical design knowledge.
- Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Understand and implement advanced software to complete assignments.
- Meet layout requirements and develop alternate design layouts of systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, and specifications.
- Review supplier data and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
- Perform checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Revit® electrical design experience is a plus.
- AutoCAD electrical design experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field) and 0 years experience required.
- Willing and able to pursue an EIT.
- Strong PC and CAD skills, as well as efficiency in utilizing computer software to complete design assignments.
